Francesca is a Senior Clinical Psychologist working full time in the NHS and also in private practice. She currently works at Great Ormond Street Hospital specialising in the assessment of Autism Spectrum Disorders and the development of children with neurodisability.
She is a warm and enthusiastic clinician who offers a range of psychological therapies, each tailored to the needs of the young person in order to help make sense of the difficulties they may be experiencing; be that anxiety, phobias and fears, low mood, eating difficulties, grief or low self-esteem. She is passionate in supporting young people to foster positive narratives about themselves and helping them to develop a range of coping strategies in order to build resilience going into adulthood. She is experienced in using creative ways to help children to talk about how they are feeling or to support them find ways of expressing and communicating their difficulties or needs.
Francesca is Chartered Clinical Psychologist accredited by the British Psychological Society and also registered with the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC).
